February 25, 1972- Germany gives a 5 million dollar ransom to Arab terrorists that hijack a jumbo jet. February 26, 1815- Napoleon escapes the island of Elba, and he then continues his conquest of France. February 27, 1950- The 22 amendment to the US Constitution was ratified, which limiting the President to 2 terms or a maximum of 10 years. February 28, 1986- Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme was assassinated in Stockholm while exiting a movie theater. |
