On New Year's Day, the British drama, Sherlock, aired it's third season since 2010. Fans have been waiting for two years to find out how the brilliant Sherlock Holmes faked his spontaneous death. The episode began with a sequence of scenes that visually gave viewers an expiation of how Sherlock faked his death. I won't go into too much detail because it could be quite confusing to read. Throughout the beginning/middle of the episode, we find out what has happened over the last two years that Sherlock has been "dead". He is soon reunited with his old friend John H. Watson. The meeting did not go how fans planned (there may have been a few fist fights directed at Sherlock by John). However, fans were satisfied when all of their 'ships' were incorporated into the episode. Overall, I was more than satisfied with the episode. Mark Gatiss (player of Mycroft Homes and the writer for Sherlock), did a wonderful job of satisfying the fans. There was an immense amount of humor incorporated into the episode and a lot of intellectual statements (by none other than Sherlock himself). I was very happy with this episode and I encourage you to dive into the Sherlock fandom and drive yourself mad. Just kidding we are all actually sane people…
If sane is the right word for mentally deranged.
